Bullis School was founded in Washington D.C. in 1930 by Commander William Francis Bullis as a preparatory school for the United States Naval Academy and the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. The school moved in 1935 to Silver Spring, Maryland, and began its four-year college preparatory program.
Bullis provides a robust academic curriculum and extensive programs in visual and performing arts, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math), entrepreneurship, humanities and global studies, physical education, athletics, and extracurricular life.
Bullis is situated on a stunning 102-acre campus and is home to a full range of state-of-the-art facilities for learning, arts, discovery, and sports. Students breathe fresh air as they move among buildings and experience a variety of integrated learning environments.
