- About MCS
Magdalen College School (MCS) is a private day school in the English public school tradition located in Oxford, England, for boys aged seven to eighteen and for girls in the sixth form (i.e. ages sixteen to eighteen).
Magdalen College is committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive community, maintaining and promoting excellence in teaching and research, and contributing to the wider public good.
Magdalen College was founded in 1458 by William Waynflete, Bishop of Winchester, and Lord Chancellor. It is one of the oldest, largest, and most beautiful colleges in Oxford.
Magdalen is currently home to around 400 undergraduate students, 200 graduate students, lots of friendly Fellows and staff, and a herd of deer. That might sound a lot, but the brilliant thing about having such a large College is that there is plenty of space for everyone.
