Zur See is a 9-part television series, produced by the GDR television from 1974 to 1976. It covers the journey of the German Sea Seafarers' Training and Freightship, J. G. Fichte from Rostock to Havana. Many prominent actors of the GDR had been committed to this series for the main roles.

Zur See ist eine 9-teilige Fernsehserie, die im Auftrag des Fernsehens der DDR von 1974 bis 1976 unter anderem auf dem Lehr- und Frachtschiff J. G. Fichte der Deutschen Seereederei produziert wurde. Viele prominente Schauspieler der DDR waren bei dieser Serie für die Hauptrollen verpflichtet worden.
