Doctors is a British medical soap opera, first broadcast on BBC One on 26 March 2000. Filmed in Birmingham and set in the fictional West Midlands town of Letherbridge, the soap follows the lives of the staff of both an NHS doctor's surgery and a university campus surgery, as well as the lives of their families and friends.

S1.E31 ∙ Choices. Fri, May 5, 2000. A woman that's been diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia has to choose between a bone-marrow transplant or chemotherapy. Also she is giving her autistic seven year old son drugs off the internet which she informs Dr Rawlings aren't helping the boy.
The first series of the British medical soap opera Doctors originally aired between 26 March and 19 May 2000. It consisted of 41 episodes, which was the initial order for the entire programme, but it was later renewed for more following a positive reception.
