For the fourth year in a row, Durham University is partnering with the Durham Fringe Festival to bring a programme of arts and culture in Durham City’s biggest arts festival. Running from Wednesday 24 – Sunday 28 July, this year’s Fringe is looking to be the biggest and best to date.
Durham University (legally the University of Durham) is a collegiate public research university in Durham, England, founded by an Act of Parliament in 1832 and incorporated by royal charter in 1837. It was the first recognised university to open in England for more than 600 years, after Oxford and Cambridge, and is thus the third-oldest university in England.
