An extended warranty called the Fitbit Protection Plan (FPP) is available for purchase with certain Fitbit products purchased in the United States from fitbit.com. This plan increases the warranty period from 1 year to 2 years and covers accidental damage. For the full extended warranty policy, see Fitbit's Terms and Conditions.
For countries that have products available through the fitbit.com store, purchases are covered by our return policy. To view the return policy for your region, see our Return Policy and Warranty. At this time, we don’t offer exchanges. If you purchased your Fitbit device or accessory elsewhere, contact the retailer to find out the return policy.

Jul 8, 2020 · All new and some refurbished Fitbits are covered under warranties. For Fitbits purchased before July 24, 2023, your device is covered by Fitbit’s Limited Warranty. For Fitbits purchased on or after July 25, 2023, your device is covered under Google’s Limited Hardware Warranty.
Fitbit’s Limited Product Warranty does not apply to third-party products or accessories that may be sold on the Fitbit Store. For warranty issues related to those products, please contact that manufacturer.
