Creating Posts and Sharing to Imgur. Once you've learned how to upload images on Imgur, the next step is creating a post (AKA album). The difference between uploading images and making a post is that images you upload can be private whereas a post is shared and visible by the Imgur community.

Jan 19, 2024 · To upload images in the Android or iOS app, tap the + button in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen. Visit the Imgur home page and click the green New Post button at the top of the page to upload images in a browser. You can either upload images privately and save the image link or post them publicly to the Imgur community.
There is an upload limit of 50 images per hour. There is no upload limit per account, so upload to your heart's desire! Please note it's not possible to replace an image while keeping the same URL.
