The Attorney-General’s Chambers of Singapore (AGC) is an Organ of State whose mission is to be the guardian of the public interest and the steward of the rule of law. AGC is led by the Attorney-General, who is the Public Prosecutor and the legal advisor to the Government.
Attorney-General. Mr Lucien Wong, SC, was appointed the 9th Attorney-General of Singapore on 14 January 2017. Mr Wong graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of Singapore in 1978 and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1979.

The Attorney-General discharges his responsibilities and duties through 4 legal divisions: Civil Division – responsible for providing legal advice to the Ministries and Organs of State on a wide spectrum of issues. Crime Division – responsible for all criminal prosecutions.
