The Tan Chin Tuan Foundation (TCTF) was established on 10 April 1976 by the late banker and philanthropist Tan Sri (Dr) Tan Chin Tuan (1908 – 2005) to share with society the rewards of a highly illustrious career.
The foundation continues Tan Sri (Dr) Tan Chin Tuan‘s legacy in supporting life-long learning through the gift of professorships, fellowships, scholarships, awards and bursaries. Its largesse has also established strategic programmes in tertiary institutions, enabling greater intellectual and people-to-people exchanges.
Dr Tan Kheng Lian, daughter of the late banker and philanthropist Tan Sri (Dr) Tan Chin Tuan, is the Chairman of the Tan Chin Tuan Foundation. She was one of two Singaporeans lauded in Forbes Asia’s Heroes of Philanthropy List in 2016.
