Mar 2, 2023 · I do really dislike the new Media Player app which has merged Movies&TV and Groove Music. Is there any way to get back the old Groove Music player separetely from the new Media Player ? The interface was way much better and I don't need Media Player to play videos.

Oct 27, 2015 · I've had some problems with Groove Music on Windows 10 - it couldn't see any of my music - to try and fix it, I uninstalled Groove and re-installed from the Store. Now it works ok and it shows all the music, the only problem is Groove no longer has an icon in the taskbar - there's a space for it on the taskbar, but it's blank.

Mar 26, 2021 · Thanks Bastet. I have followed your suggestion and tried via Windows Media Player as well as again with Groove Music. but neither seems to work. My computer is quite old (7+ years) and I'm not sure how Windows updates the apps so perhaps mine are old as well. Anyhow, I have attached screen clips of both WMP and Groove with the right-click.
