People training to be at their absolute peak are often also on the verge of being sick. It runs you down. Doesn’t surprise me at all that a guy like Khamzat who is known for training insanely hard even relative to other professional fighters has a tanked immune system. He’s overtrained.

ArkhamGeyser. •• Edited. Gilbert showed he can still hang with the best and wasn't gonna be walked over, and Khamzat showed he has that DOG in him to fight through a War. Both took each other's best Shot, and kept going until the end. Crowd may have soured on Chimaev, and understandably so, but this fight was AWESOME.
