Aug 28, 2014 · Original Title: Microsoft Office Excel 2007. Every time when I try to open excel, it says a message that 'stdole32.tlb'. Then I have to click ok. Then the system will say 'Please wait until the system prepares necessary files'. Then the window will show 'Configuration in progress'. Hence every time it takes a long time to open an excel document.
Note that Office 2007 is no longer supported by Microsoft, which means that no further updates or bug fixes for it will be released.
