  2. Introduction. Historical Course of Change and Development. In 1975, after the passing of President Chiang Kai-shek, the Executive Yuan established a preparatory team to promote construction of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, which was completed in 1980.

  3. Visitors can also see an extremely lifelike wax sculpture of President Chiang Kai-shek by renowned sculptor Lin Chien-cheng sitting behind his desk. Initially, the Presidential Office was located on the west side of Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall (near the collection storage room).

  9. Flag-raising times at Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. The flag-raising and lowering ceremonies are divided into summer and winter schedules. The summer schedule runs from April 1 to September 30 each year, with the flag raised every morning at 6:00 am and lowered at 6:10 pm in the evening.
