Feb 20, 2019 · In my opinion, far cry new Dawn is much much much better than far cry 5 and even 4. The gameplay is really good and fun. I think if Ubisoft had actually invested in the game and made it longer and into a far cry 6, then it would certainly have been the best far cry ever. Spoilers.

Soundtrack: Far Cry 5. Overall, the soundtrack of Far Cry 5 is better than New Dawn's. The cultists' singing Eden's Gate songs, the animal sounds, and the ambient noises immerse you in the North and Northwest landscapes of the USA. While New Dawn has great music and sound effects, Far Cry 5 excels in this aspect. Visuals: New Dawn.
New Dawn is fun enough if you enjoyed Far Cry 5. But I definitely wish it was a proper DLC for FC5 instead of being a stand-alone release, because it doesn’t quite have enough legs to stand on its own. I agree Far Cry 5 has a terrible ending, and New Dawn at least gives it some proper closure.
May 18, 2022 · Felt like it was a very good wrap up/continuation of the story, although overall a much weaker game. Still, "much weaker" than "great" is still pretty decent in my opinion and worth playing. Very mild non-specific spoilers: So yes, my recommendation is play it! It’s great especially if you got a buddy to play with.
Aug 17, 2021 · Far cry new dawn is different than other games. In the other games (4&5 specifically) you can solve every problem with a gun and large amounts of ammo. In far cry new dawn there are enemy’s that can’t be killed by lower tier guns with out emptying an armory full of ammo. It’s more of a run and gun verses the gun and run that the other ...
Jan 16, 2021 · Primal is FC4.5. It uses primitive weapons, which is really refreshing. It has a survival mode that is pretty much the definitive way to play the game. ND is basically overpriced DLC with a terrible tiered weapon/enemy system, health bars, and a tiny map with a huge portion locked for one single mission.
The mutated animals, outside of the monstrous variants, maintain a tone that aligns well with Far Cry while still being all cool and mutated. Combat in the game is exceptionally good. Despite the somewhat irksome rank system, the combat feels impactful, akin to Far Cry 5 but with more intensity and a slightly faster pace.
Dec 25, 2021 · Get it one time then run back around if you need more. It's an infinite restock, so you don't have to worry about running out of ammo. Definitely use the MG42 elite level machine gun + armor piercing rounds. I used that without upgrading it a single time and it shredded through Mickey, Lou, and Ethan.
