Jul 29, 2024 · No one could call THE THORNBIRDS great art, but it's melodramatic, even operatic, in a pretty entertaining way, especially with some wonderful actors on board ("Missy," of course, but also Richard Kiley, Jean Simmons, Christopher Plummer, even DL fave Mare Winningham and WEHT Philip Anglim).
