Nov 29, 2017 · I remember it being noted when I did read an article years ago about a reporter talking to Neil's brother, and then asking Neil why his accent was so different from his brother's Newcastle accent. Which was such a bitchy question, that British obsession with accent and class. Neil explained it as because of so many years in London.

I'm gay, am I allowed to critique Bronski Beat as being just okay? Smalltown Boy was authentically moving and memorable. And then they went on to...? There's only so much male soprano pop can take I guess. I suppose the gay rights movement ...
