UNIVAC was a line of electronic digital stored-program computers developed by Eckert–Mauchly Computer Corporation and later owned by Remington Rand and Sperry Corporation. UNIVAC was known for its role in the 1952 U.S. presidential election prediction and its involvement in military and scientific computing.
Since 1980, we have been passionate in our pursuit of excellence in precision engineering. This passion has fuelled our growth, from local beginnings in precision plastics tooling, to being globally recognized now, for innovation in design and manufacturing of precision assemblies and consumables.
UNIVAC was one of the earliest commercial computers, designed as a stored-program machine for data processing. It was built by J. Presper Eckert and John Mauchly, who also worked on the ENIAC computer during World War II.
UNIVAC was developed by the engineers of ENIAC, the first general-purpose electronic computer, and delivered to the U.S. Census Bureau. It predicted Eisenhower's election victory in 1952 and was replaced by transistor computers in the 1950s.
With decades of molding experience behind us, Univac has grown to be one of the top precision custom injection molders in Asia. We hold certifications for ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, and TS 16949.
