Mar 13, 2022 · Yandex has a rather better search quality in .ru internet segment. Btw, I often use Google to search something in English network. If you open search results in Yandex, you can find a small button below the results page sending the query to other different seach engines including Google, that's a nice feature. Thanks, Firefox.

Chosen solution If you are not able to install a search plugin for Yandex from the Add-ons site or Mycroft, you could try installing one from the site (this works in Firefox 41, I haven't tested in Nightly):
