Jul 27, 2020 · Unfortunately, every time I click "download OneNote 2016" on the Microsoft site, all I get is an Office download that leaves me with Office 365. All I want is OneNote 2016 on this virtual machine. I don't care about the rest of Office 365 or any other Office products on it. Can I get just OneNote 2016, and where can I download it? Thanks. W
Dec 14, 2021 · It's a great app, but Microsoft's messaging about it and delivery of the SW is very cloudy at best. There is still a free version of OneNote - the download link will download the office setup only install OneNote. M365 MVP, specializing in Outlook, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 apps.

Jan 14, 2018 · OneNote 2016 used to be available to download seperatly for free. I've never purchased Office but have been using OneNote 2016 for a long time now. Has Microsoft now removed the option to use OneNote 2016 for free?
