Our dog shelter exists to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome strays to give them a second chance at life.
Our mission is to save our street dogs and give them a chance in life, to the best of our ability. Until each dog has a refuge; a home to call its own and in which it is dearly loved. We strive to save our street dogs through 3 key areas of focus: Advocate & Educate.
SOSD rescues stray and abandoned dogs off the streets of Singapore, bails out impounded dogs and works to find their forever homes through the dog adoption program. All our dogs are desexed, dewormed, vaccinated, vet checked and temperament tested, but they need your love and patience to help them become a well-adjusted household pet.

We are currently caring for 200 dogs at The Animal Lodge and Jurong Island shelter and feeding 70 strays in Jurong Island. SOSD is located at The Animal Lodge, where most of Singapore’s animal shelters and commercial farms are housed.
