Orchard Road Presbyterian Church (ORPC) began as a congregation comprising Scottish sailors and soldiers. The first service was conducted on 26th October 1856 by Rev Thomas McKenzie Fraser at the London Missionary Society’s chapel at the junction of North Bridge Road and Bras Basah Road.

The Orchard Road Presbyterian Church ( ORPC; Chinese: 烏節路長老會教堂 ), also known as Greja Kechil ("small church" in Malay) and the Scotch Church, is a Presbyterian church in Singapore. The church was completed in 1878, and it is the oldest Presbyterian church in Singapore. [1]

Built in 1878, the Orchard Road Presbyterian Church is the oldest church at Orchard Road. Prior to its construction, local Presbyterians (a Christian denomination) worshipped at Mission Chapel, a worship hall established at Bras Basah Road in 1823.
