Win7 Ultimate doesnt have the option to run as winxp, it has the ability to run virtual winxp if you explicitly download it from MS. You can import the OE msg store into Outlook.

You don't. OE has never been a standalone e-mail client. You are asking this in an XP forum. Do you have XP? If you do, you have Outlook Express. If you are using XP, what is your issue with OE? If you can't find OE, perhaps this will help. Right click on the Desktop | New | Shortcut. Browse to *c:\program files\outlook express\msimn.exe*.
