Stanley Market, located in the picturesque village of Stanley, is popular for its huge variety of clothing, accessories, jewellery and more. Increase of duty-free allowance for luggage articles brought into the Mainland by Mainland residents travelling from Hong Kong takes effect from 1 July 2024.
Its a 40min uber ride south the HK, but not only is there the market, there is the beautiful coastal town of Stanley. Full of mall style shops, restaurants and a delicious doughnut place. The market has everything, great arts and antiques and a brilliant place for technology. People were so friendly. Highly recommened.

Just a 50 minutes bus ride from Central, you can step into a laidback village type of life in Stanley Market. You can explore the shops in the market and Stanley Plaza, which boasts a number of eateries. There are also a few restaurants along the seafront towards Murray House and the Pier, next to the Tin Hau temple.

Welcome to Stanley Market in Hong Kong. Stanley Market is one of the must-go places for tourists when they visit Hong Kong. You will find an interesting array of little shops selling silk garments, sportswear, art, Chinese costume jewelry and souvenirs.
It takes one and a half hours to arrive in Stanley c. 13:30 then you have a couple of hours to look around the market and the village, enjoy a seaside lunch, etc. The return trip departs Stanley at 15:30 and you are back in Kowloon at 17:15, Central 17:00, or take the bus whenever you're ready!
