They'll tell you what trains you can transfer between to get between places, but not when those trains leave – making it now useless for planning out a trip.
Apr 2, 2022 · I stopped using Hyperdia about 5 years ago when I realized Google maps have me all the information I need. You can click on the routes that open and will show all the options for each line with departure and arrival times.

Hyperdia ditched timetables due to a charge being introduced for their use by a train company. The times shown are from "now" - when you put in your search. Jourdan or Navitime are alternatives. Navitime allows you to pull up the timetable for the day if you want.
