Chicago Med Season 8 Episode 16, “What You See Isn’t Always What You Get,” is a mixed bag with thrilling action and rushed storytelling. While a Chicago Fire appearance is always welcome on the show, more is needed to save the episode from odd pacing and incomplete story fragments; a lot of potential character development is left on the table.
