Sep 25, 2023 · Overview. ZIPAIR only has flights going to Tokyo from Singapore, specifically Narita Airport. They offer two types of seats and have a variety of different add-ons that you will have to go thoroughly through to make sure you do not get charged extra! You can book your flights up to 6 months in advance, too.

Overall, flying on a budget airline is certainly not for every family, but when the circumstances are right it could make for a very rewarding and affordable option. Zipair, similar to our home favorite airline Southwest, is definitely an exception to the rule when it comes to budget airlines.

May 13, 2022 · ZIPAIR currently offers flights to five different cities from their hub at Narita International Airport, Seoul, Bangkok, Singapore, Honolulu (Hawaii) and Los Angeles. With no other budget airlines flying from Tokyo to Los Angeles or Hawaii, ZIPAIR offers some particularly tempting tickets for those cities especially.

I am considering that airline for a trip for me & my family (2 adults and 2 kids, ages 6 & 8) in May, and it seems like a good deal, but I'm worried about exactly what I would be giving up by flying this cheaper flight!

Well, you're only paying for the seat: Much like Zipair economy and any other ultra-low-cost carrier, everything else from luggage to meals to even water will cost extra. And there's a possible dealbreaker: Zipair tickets are nonrefundable and no changes are allowed – practically unheard of with business class tickets.
