Paternity Leave Supports eligible working fathers (including self-employed fathers) in caring for their newborn children and encourages shared parental responsibility. There will be changes to this scheme for eligible working fathers of Singaporean children born on or after 1 Jan 2024.
May 29, 2021 · Since 2017, eligible working fathers are entitled to two weeks of government-paid paternity leave under the Child Development Co-Savings Act (CDCA) . The father may also share up to four weeks of the mother’s maternity leave if the mother is eligible for government-paid maternity leave.
