The Turks and Caicos Islands (abbreviated TCI; / ˈ t ɜːr k s / and / ˈ k eɪ k ə s,-k oʊ s,-k ɒ s /) are a British Overseas Territory consisting of the larger Caicos Islands and smaller Turks Islands, two groups of tropical islands in the Lucayan Archipelago of the Atlantic Ocean and northern West Indies. They are known primarily for tourism and as an offshore financial centre.

The Turks and Caicos has forty islands and cays, of which nine are inhabited. With an area of 238 mi² (616 km²), the TCI is about twice the size of the Florida Keys. Providenciales, often simply called Provo, is home to the spectacular Grace Bay Beach, luxury resorts, and hotels, and is the destination of choice for many of our visitors.
