Jan 19, 2024 · @PastSellByDate if pressing the red button on the remote doesn't work try rebooting your main Q box ie. putting your box into Standby . switch it off at the wall for 30 seconds then switch it back on. then follow the on screen instructions
Jul 30, 2024 · A press on that gives access to 'Red Button' service when a channel has this. The other colours effectively do nothing. I have always been very disappointed that the coloured buttons apart from the red button are not used (although IIRC one button - green? - does have one fairly obscure use)

Mar 2, 2024 · I wonder why the on air guy made the statement then. Oh, I have already tried my 'SkyGo' app, and there is no red button available on the F1 channel. It's technlgically feasible, as when Sky 1st forced me to pay for F1 back in 2012, the red button was really good. Then they withdrew it to force folk to give them more money in other platforms...
Sep 19, 2023 · Now, the match choice red button option isn't even available at all anymore, it doesn't prompt me on screen and nothing happens when I press the button. I'm fuming to say the least as my football team kicked off over 15 minutes ago and I'm missing it.
Mar 26, 2022 · You are incorrect I have recorded on red button all though the Euros last year. By the way worked out how to record one match at least on red button. Go to the main match enter and you will get the list of red button matches, click record on the match you want! Hey presto, as long as you are not recording the main match in main menu it works.

After the on screen messages have disappeared, press Home on your Sky Q remote to switch your box back on. Jul 29, 2023 · Hi. I've got up this morning to a few buttons not working on my sky Q remote, the search button, the right directional button & the voice control button so far. Looked inside at the batteries & there's white powder around 1 & the wrap around the other is coming away at 1 end. I've replaced the batteries & cleaned inside. Buttons still don't work.

Aug 6, 2023 · Hi @pra29 . Check that the button isn't stuck. If it isn't have you tried a Q box reboot. To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
