Oct 9, 2023 · Now having said that, 3 was always my least favourite, though I have a soft spot for the original trilogy, as I was in school when they came out and they were the “must watch” horrors of the time. I watched them all again when Scream VI came out, and watching 3 through contemporary eyes is a very strange experience.

Jan 11, 2005 · Loved Scream 1-3, found 4 dull and 5 to be very meh - it felt like a remake of the original to me - but 6 was really good. Great opening, good characters and some entertaining set-pieces - the sub-way train sequence was a highlight for me.
Oct 19, 2021 · Scream was shot on 35mm film using Panavision Cameras and Clairmont lenses.It utilised an anamorphic shooting style (using both Panavision and Clairmont-Scope processes), the beauty of which can now be seen in this newly produced native 4K presentation of the original theatrical cut, created from a brand-new restoration and new scan (although scant details on what went into this could be found).
Aug 5, 2011 · There is no plot, but after the lunacy of Scream 3, this is a blessing. The film thunders along, hurling you from one frantic set-piece to another at ramming speed. We have no mid-movie crooning, as painfully witnessed in Scream 2, and it is a genuine pleasure to see some of these characters meeting their makers.
