Nov 30, 2022 · Yup. I was about 30 and working a bad job with a crazy boss. I had an idea for a novel and after some thought, I up and quit my job with no backup plan and not a lot of savings. I had a mortgage and a dog too. I did wrack up some debt but I spent six months not working and wrote the draft of my novel.

Continue travel nursing, stack bread, buy property until I can quit nursing. Research/academia and definitely consulting on the side. Someone also mentioned data science and YES that would definitely be my first pick.

Jul 10, 2019 · I have a back-up plan if something happens to my partner, yeah. Move back to my hometown, live with relatives, get a job, move out. I have savings and family and friends I can lean on for childcare in a situation like that. No back-up romantic/sexual partners though. Pretty sure that'd be the furthest thing from my mind.
