Jul 31, 2023 · Wolf Of Wall Street falls short of that. It's excess for excess' sake. The protagonist is an unmitigated jerk and, well, we're asked to go on this ride with him. And then the film forces the humor on us rather than earning it. Wolf of Wall Street moves too much into satire territory and I think that's it's undoing.

Dec 25, 2013 · The Wolf of Wall Street is why I go the movies, just pure entertainment. Hilarity, intensity, sex, drugs and all kinds of depravity, plus a great story. I absolutely love watching someone word hard (albeit quite illegally) for their dream. It was 3 hours and it went by in a flash, it was an absolute blast.
