Apr 30, 2022 · Took the ferry to Valletta. You'll be able to get around many places in 10 days besides Valletta. Buses and ferry's are both good to use and there's many buses you can take from Valletta. If you want a coffee or cocktail stop in to Cafe Society while you're in Valletta :)

Highlights: the Hypogeum, ancient burial site; the church in Mosta where the unexploded WW2 bomb fell; Melliha and the underground caves where folks sheltered in WW2; the cathedral in Valletta; and finally the most beautiful place—Mdina. The Blue Lagoon is gorgeous but so crowded.
Sep 10, 2022 · Bottega is also nice for cocktails and socialising. Gun Post is a nice snack bar if you don't mind cheaper but okay quality food. It has one of the nicest sunset views overlooking Tigne Point. I would also recommend taking the ferry from Valletta to Birgu and eating at the restaurants there.
Jul 31, 2018 · Also Malta is heavily influenced by the Sicilian people for the cuisine. I anticipate we’ll be using public transport. Smart choice! You can get a 7 day bus card for £21 per person which allows you to use the bus non stop.
Jun 13, 2021 · Valletta is beautiful, Sliema and st julians are more commercial. If you want the best of both worlds stay in Valletta near the Sliema ferry and then it only takes 5 mins to get the boat across. Antik area in Sliema.
Apr 24, 2018 · Valletta is very chill and a better choice for a relaxed night time compared to something like Paceville which is a party town. I really like the Charles Grech bar, it's on the main street, very elegant and full of well behaved people usually, plus you get free peanuts and olives with your drinks, goes extremely nice with beer 🍺
If you have 5 days (or 4 days), the tip is: -1 full day Gozo. -a different day: a half day trip to Comino (Blue Lagoon) -the rest in Malta (Valletta, Mdina, the usuals) If you are in Malta on a Sunday, consider going to the Marsaxlokk (fish) market (go early 10:00-11:00). You don’t need to make any reservations for the ferries to Comino and Gozo.
