Gepard is actually good as sustain with swan. probably 2nd best overall. 1 is Huohuo of course, because energy, but gepard scales off defense, so u can run the burn-def lightcone on him, inflict an extra DoT, without screwing up his build. extra DoT means extra arcana stack from Swan during normal/skill.
Feb 10, 2024 · Black Swan's damage comes from Arcana DoT. Super Fast Kafka stacks Arcana better than Black Swan herself. Black Swan should be built with either massive speed investment (154+) to get more Arcana stacks, or zero speed investment (100) with everything dumped into attack to make each Arcana stack do more damage.
cccjjj2050. • • Edited. Usually not, Black swan is special in having a trace that gives a large damage bonus scaling with Effect Hit Rate. Ruan mei has the similar trace of giving damage bonus to team scaling with Break effect on her skill. Because you have a lot of %dmg already, wind dmg% will give diminishing returns and atk% is better.
Slow Swan build sits at 135 spd, calced this way to be able to hit the first spd breakpoint for the extra cycle and to activate the first bonus of glamoth. Fast Swan is the build that attempts to go towards 160, for the higher spd breakpoint, outspeed 158.4 enemies, and to activate the full glamoth set effect.
Regarding Black Swan builds. I have seen a lot of people asking for builds so here's my quick run down guide for her. 4piece Prisoner in deep confinement will be her bis, BS can easily and quite fast get the four piece effect up and going and 18% defense ignore on top of the 20% she gets in her ultimate is the perfect synergy for her.
Black Swan has a trace that increases her DMG bonus by 60% of her EHR up to a max of 72%. So if you have 120% ehr you’re already sitting at 72% dmg bonus with the Wind Orb you’re at ~108% DMG bonus.

If you can increase your SPD by 4 somehow, then take the 160 as a nice bonus when RM is on the team. Either 155 spd before RM, or just 0 spd with atk boots. 0 speed is not ideal, it’s already been discussed on the main sub in response to the “slow” BS. Getting ult up would take forever. It’s not so black and white.

You will need ~11-12 speed substats to hit 160.
