Aug 30, 2015 · Cursor erratic and impossible to control I've recently upgraded to Windows 10 on my Lenovo laptop. Since then, the cursor has become increasingly erratic and jumps about to the point that I literally cannot do anything, regardless of whether I use the mouse or the touchpad.
I just wanted to share a solution to a problem that I was having with both of my Wireless Logitech Keyboard/Mouse combinations. I would randomly have my wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse become erratic and either not work in the case of my keyboard or erratically in the case of my wireless mouse.
Mar 11, 2024 · My laptop was turned off for a month while on vacation. When I turned it back on, the Logitech wireless mouse movement was very erratic. It would not track across the screen and I have to use the touchpad until the the mouse starts working again. This is very frustrating especially when scrolling.

Apr 29, 2017 · 1. I used two seperate external Logitech Mouse devices (transceiver plugs into the USB port), and also a Microsoft Arc Touch mouse. Same results (erratic, freezing, etc). 2. With respect to the BIOS test, when I ran the Mouse/Trackpad tests (and other tests), I also ran the Drag/Drop tests, etc.
Sep 23, 2022 · No luck. I tried using 3 different mice and two different USB ports; again, no luck. I even did a complete reset/reinstall of Windows 11 and chose to delete all files and settings. Still having the same problem. For now; I am going back to Windows 10, until Microsoft can figure out what is causing all the erratic behavior.
