Singapore is a great option for you as a platform to go to other countries in the region for scuba diving and stuff. Culture shock will be no issue, Singapore is like the ezmode of Asian countries for someone outside the Asia Pacific to live in. Ultimately rent in Singapore really defines your lifestyle.

Overall I'd say Singapore is average. It's not fast and aggressive like America, definitely way slower than Sydney, but it is faster than places like Jakarta and Japan. Dec 11, 2022 · I did contract for a MNC (mostly local management) and worked for a tech solutions SME and hours are typically 50-60hr/week, covid era there's some WFH but WLB is bad, work constantly spills over to after hours and weekends. Singapore still retains the top spot as the most overworked country in APAC (regardless of WFH).
