François Pinault, né le 21 août 1936 aux Champs-Géraux ( Côtes-d'Armor ), est un homme d'affaires milliardaire français, fondateur des sociétés Artémis et Kering . Actif depuis 1962 dans le négoce de bois, il diversifie ses activités dans les années 1980 en entrant dans le secteur de la distribution ( FNAC, La Redoute ).
Biography. François-Henri Pinault joined the Pinault group in 1987. He held senior positions in several of the Group’s operating subsidiaries before becoming an Executive Board member. In 2000, he was appointed Deputy CEO of PPR (which became Kering), responsible for the Group’s digital strategy.
