Sitting of Parliament. The Parliament of Singapore can meet at any time of the year. The date of the meeting or sitting can be specifically named by Parliament upon its adjournment or, if no date is fixed, called by the Speaker.
Order Paper. Notes: The Order Paper lists the agenda for the day's sitting at the House. The latest Order Paper will be available online a day before the sitting.

A Sitting report is uploaded onto the website of the Parliament of Singapore within 7 working days from the adjournment of a Sitting. A listing of Parliamentary Sitting dates can be found here. A video on how to search through the Hansard reports can be found here. The Official Reports are prepared in accordance with Standing Order No. 29.
Sitting Day. Proceedings of Parliament are open to the public, except for certain occasions such as the Opening of Parliament. The dates of Parliament sittings are announced through the media and our website. Sittings will usually commence at 1.30 pm and continue until Parliament adjourns.
How long is a Parliament sitting? Parliament sittings usually start at 1.30 pm, except during the annual Budget and Committee of Supply (COS) debate sessions. Sittings end when all the items of business on the Order Paper have been discussed or when Parliament decides to adjourn.

The verified copy of the Official Report of Parliamentary debates is published on the Parliament website within 10 working days from the adjournment of a sitting. The Department also produces the verbatim reports of Parliament's Select Committee meetings.
Being unicameral, the Parliament of Singapore has only one House. The Members of Parliament (MPs) are voted in at regular General Elections. The leader of the political party that secures the majority of seats in Parliament will be asked by the President to become the Prime Minister (PM).
