Chinese is mainly taught as one among the subject areas, while also being foregrounded through the dual-language Chinese History programme (Years 7-9), the two-week China Experience Programme (Years 7-9) and the year-long CIS Hangzhou programme (Year 10).

The Ohio Chinese School provides enrichment opportunities and a welcoming environment for students to learn Chinese language and culture. OCS offers a variety of weekend classes that will teach students the essence of Chinese tradition, such as history, culture, social practices, arts and crafts, music and dances, and Kung Fu.
