•Prior to the season premiere, The CW aired a TV special to promote this season as well as the return of the character John Constantine that was titled Constantine: The Legend Continues.
•Despite being credited in the "main cast" bill, Courtney Ford (Nora Darhk) and Ramona Young (Mona Wu/Wolfie) were only credited for their respective episode appearances.
•In addition, the former was also credited in the "special appearance by" bill in "The Virgin Gary".
•Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Amaya Jiwe/Vixen) originally left the cast at the end of the last season until "Dancing Queen" where she was credited in the "special appearance by" bill. She then rejoined the main cast in the following episode as Charlie.
•Despite being credited in the "special appearance by" bill, Matt Ryan (John Constantine) appeared in every episode this season, more frequently than Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Jes Macallan (Ava Sharpe), Courtney Ford, Ramona Young, and Nick Zano (Nate Heywood), all of whom were series regulars.
•Adam Tsekhman (Gary Green) also appeared more frequently than Courtney Ford despite being a recurring actor.
