The Regular and Special Payment for the GST Voucher – U-Save as announced in Budget 2013 will provide substantial assistance to households. Those living in 1- to 2-room HDB flats can offset about 6 to 8 months of utilities bills on average with their GST Voucher – U-Save.
To have received the GST Voucher – Cash in 2013, you must have fulfilled the following criteria: i) You must have been a Singapore citizen residing in Singapore in 2013; ii) You must have been of age 21 or above in 2013;

Jun 28, 2013 · Two million adult Singaporeans will receive letters from the Government in the first week of July 2013, informing them of the benefits they and their households will receive as part of Budget 2013. The benefits include: GST Voucher (GSTV) – this comprises the GSTV – Cash, GSTV – Medisave and GSTV- U-Save;
GST Voucher (GSTV) – Cash. Enhanced cash payouts up to $850 from 2024, to help lower-income Singaporeans, residing in Singapore, with their daily living expenses. SCHEME HIGHLIGHTS. Enhanced cash payouts up to $850 from 2024. Payouts will be disbursed in August each year.
As at end October 2013, the Government has disbursed about $652 million in GST Voucher – Cash, and about $210 million in GST Voucher – Medisave. About 800,000 HDB households would have also automatically received the GST Voucher – U-Save amounting to $45 million in October 2013.
