In 1975 Jurong Country Club (JCC) was born. This green lung was bordered by Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim, Jurong Town Hall Road, and the placid Jurong Lake. When membership opened, JCC comprised a modest clubhouse, two tennis courts, and a nine-hole course designed by a Briton called Frank Pennick.

In my opinion, one of the very best Singapore curries is at Jurong Country Club. Absolutely delicious. Car parking charges applicable but you do not have to be a member to visit the restaurant. The golf course looks well kept.
