Admission to Nursing Homes. Admission to our nursing homes is strictly by referral through the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), a centralised government agency that monitors the availability of beds across all ILTC (Intermediate and Long Term Care) facilities in Singapore.
The 332-bed Ren Ci @ Woodlands is the third nursing home operated by Ren Ci Hospital, and the first to be located within a health campus. Its location within Woodlands Health Campus allows for seamless transitions across the various care settings according to patients' needs.
Ren Ci @ Woodlands is Ren Ci Hospital’s newest facility, comprising of a 332-bedded Nursing Home, Senior Care Centre with a capacity for 100 clients, and Home Care services.
Ren Ci Home Care provides holistic management of clients by a team of professional staff which includes doctors, nurses, therapists, medical social workers, care associates and coordinators to support our clients both medically and socially.
It housed 150 Chronic Sick beds and added 120 Nursing Home beds. In December 2008, after transferring the Chronic Sick patients to the purpose-built Ren Ci Community Hospital, we converted the facility to a full-fledged nursing home located at Jalan Tan Tock Seng (Moulmein).
Ren Ci @ Bukit Batok St. 52 is likely the first in Singapore to share its facilities with residents in neighbouring estates. It houses a multi-purpose hall and a community gymnasium which the public* can use after working hours.
