Englewood is a city in Bergen County, New Jersey. It borders on Fort Lee and Englewood Cliffs to its east, Tenafly to its north, Teaneck to its west, and Leonia to its south. The village of Englewood was part of Hackensack Township from its inception until 1871, when the state legislature divided Bergen County into four townships: Hackensack, Palisade, Ridgefield, and Englewood.
