Apr 9, 2018 · A laborious work around: add them to the new album one by one, starting with the last one, so that you can sort by "recently added". To find the new album easily in the list you can add a very recent photo (and remove it later), so that it appears on top of the list.

Dec 2, 2018 · I have created an album with photos for a specific vacation. I have re-ordered the photos in the album and found some that were very similar and I have therefore deleted some of the photos - in the album. Now I see that the photos I deleted in the album are still present in the "main photo folder" (whereto all photos are uploaded).
Wow saved my day ... @Keara Tappe's method of typing in the Album Name and without selecting it hitting enter worked well (also in FireFox) ... I have an album of over 4000 photos (4294 to be exact I saw using this method :-) ) spanning over 10 years so would have been hell to find them all in the photo stream ....
On your computer, go to photos.google.com. At the top left, click Sharing . Open an album. In the top right, click More Options. Turn off Collaborate. Notes: You can't stop individual people from adding items, but you can stop everyone from adding items. You’ll still see photos that other people added, unless you remove them.
