"I'm going home" = you are leaving them to wherever they go and you are going to the family home without going with them. 2. "I'm coming home" = you are coming with them, they and you both are going home.
Feb 11, 2015 · So, it's "going home" or "go home" or the like. Conventional Reason: Technically, there is nothing wrong with saying "Go to home," if we are treating home as a noun. But there are reasons why we don't do it. We always treat 'house' as a physical place and 'home' as an abstract idea.

So, Alex is going to go home at 4 o'clock could mean Alex has a definite plan, or that it's just a random guess, or somewhere in between.

May 9, 2015 · Home. I'm going home. The speaker is going to their home. I'm going to a home. "A home" would be usually be interpreted as some sort of assisted living facility. A person with mental illness or an elderly individual may be put "in a home". I'm going to the home. I would not know what to make of this sentence. The home? Which home?
