Gunderup Kirke er bygget i 1100-tallet, oprindeligt bestod kirken af kor og skib. I senmiddelalderen, måske i 1440'erne, bliver kirken ombygget. I skib og kor bliver træloftet udskiftet med hvælvinger, desuden bygges der våbenhus, sakristi og tårn.
