Sep 24, 2024 · HSBC Visa Credit Card - 10% cashback offer (1st Oct-31st Dec 2024) Just received an email from HSBC offering 10% cashback for 3 months on groceries, fuel and UK travel (up to £50 per month) with my Visa credit card. 5 purchases or more on the above will be required too. Keep an eye out for an email as you have to opt-in by the 30th September 2024.
Sep 9, 2024 · If you pay in £250 per month then at 7% interest you'd have £3116 by the end of month 12. if you pay in £3000 into a 4% savings account then you'd have £3120 by the end of month 12. You're assuming that the £3000 earns nothing when it's not in the HSBC account. If you already have £3000 then it's likely to be earning interest.
Jan 22, 2023 · Do HSBC no longer automatically send Physical Secure Key and it has to be specifically requested? I'm familiar with the physical vs digital mainly from similar First Direct and remember it wasn't possible to switch back once on digital so would prefer not to lock myself into the more restrictive and sometimes glitching digital/mobile version just yet.
Oct 24, 2020 · Export the app you want to. Copy it over to the new device. (blue tooth, via plugged in on computer, via a sd cars, whatever). Use some file manager (total commander is nice) and open it and install it (probably have to turn on allow random installs thing but you can do it one time these days). Job done.

When I answer I end up speaking to an Indian call centre. The male tells me that he is calling me from HSBC and that he has to inform me of something important associated with my account.

I followed Martin's tip here to open an online Bonus Saver account with HSBC - at the time I had both a current account and a Flex Saver account with them, but I have now Switched and Ditched the current account.
Apr 17, 2021 · I only ask as I was somewhat surprised, at the difference in the number of holdings of what many may consider very similar investments. FUND ETF. HSBC VANGUARD HSBC VANGUARD. (HMWO) (VWRP) Holdings. Equity 3,269 6,774 1,416 3,480. Other 162 25 64 15. The ETF's have about half the number of holdings their traditional Funds have.
Apr 27, 2021 · HSBC really need to pull their finger out, closing branches yet their site and app is behind the times. They have only just added the ability to pay a credit card easily (non-DD). Before you had to set up a new payee manually. I did notice some pages on the HSBC have a new design so I assume a big update is coming.

Feb 4, 2023 · 4 February 2023 at 1:51PM. I'm in a fortunate position that I could apply for a HSBC Premier Account, if I move some money around I should be able to reach the £50k required. The travel insurance would be quite useful, I know it doesn't cost much to buy separately but I'd be getting it for free with the account.
