Jonathan Yong Kim (born 5 February 1984) is an American U.S. Navy lieutenant commander, former SEAL, flight surgeon, Naval aviator, physician, and NASA astronaut. Born and raised in California, Kim enlisted in the U.S. Navy in the early 2000s before earning a Silver Star, Bronze Star with V device, and his commission.
