- Frank’s Cafe – Bold Tendencies. The original and most popular rooftop bar and social space in Peckham, Frank’s (Cafe) is situated outside on the top floor of a car-park building.
- Bussey Rooftop Bar. We love the Peckham Bussey Rooftop building set-up with its 360 degree views and highest viewpoint. Whilst sometimes seen as a plan B destination if nearby Frank’s Cafe is too full or crowded, Peckham’s Bussey Rooftop Bar has a character all of its own and if anything, the vista here is better.
- Skylight Peckham. Hoping to rival Franks and the Bussey building as the most radical rooftop and hip hang out in Peckham, Skylight is open all year round, with igloos at Christmas and alfresco floral decks in the summer months.
- Brick Brewery. One of South London’s most popular and well-known tap-rooms, Brick Brewery (near Peckham Rye station) has a wide range of craft beers with an outdoor seating area and a smaller indoor area.
- Get Breakfast At Two Hundred Lane. Two Hundred Lane is the ideal location if you’re looking for a mouthwatering breakfast to start your day. Some of the best pastries and coffee in the neighbourhood can be found at this small bistro.
- Discover Peckham’s Market Place. A variety of stalls selling everything from fresh food to handcrafted goods are found here. This is the ideal location to spend a relaxed Sunday afternoon because of the bustling ambiance and abundance of exotic street cuisine available.
- Check Out Peckham Levels. This area has a wide array of art studios, food vendors, and performance venues, making it the ideal location to meet new artists and experience delectable cuisine.
- Grab A Coffee At CLF Art Cafe. CLF Art Café is the perfect place to take a break if you enjoy music and art. This café, housed in the famous Bussey Building, offers delicious coffee and pastries as well as a variety of exhibitions and events.
After a hiccough in the 70s when the area was one of London’s worst-off, Peckham has emerged in recent years as one of the coolest parts of London. Packed with old-school hangouts and un-fussy spots alongside brilliant rooftop bars, restaurants and fun things to do, there’s something for everyone.
